The SLS Large-Diameter Tube Taper Forming Machine is a specialized metal pipe end swaging solution engineered for ground screw pile manufacturing. The machine operates through a two-stage hot forging process. First, a high-frequency induction heating system raises the pipe end to the optimal forging temperature (approx. 900–1050°C) within seconds. The heated tube then enters the rotary swaging station, where four-die radial hammering mechanisms strike at high frequency to shape the softened metal into a precise conical taper. This hot forging approach significantly reduces material resistance, enabling clean forming of thick-wall pipes with minimal stress and spring-back, resulting in a smooth, uniform cone with excellent surface finish.
